You will also have the opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship with this child and his or her family through written correspondence and, in the best of cases, spend emotional moments with him or her on site.
You can also join up with other godparents to enable students whose education is more expensive (75 euros/month, tax exempt at 66% in France) to continue their studies toward obtaining a university degree.
