On August 12, ANAK Bali distributed water filters to the families of sponsored childrenThanks to an endowment from the BNPP Foundation, ANAK Bali was able to acquire these “Nazava” filters from a company called Social Impakt.
The manager, Jeroen, came to explain how to install and use them. These filters will enable families to save on the gas or wood they would usually use to boil water (Bali’s water is not drinkable).
Each filter lasts an average of 3 years. In addition, families will buy fewer plastic bottles = more savings, less pollution!
Thank you to the entire on-site team for organizing this event, to BNPP for the funds, and to Jeroen for coming to explain how to use the filters !
