Just like every month, members of the ANAK Bali office visited all its centers during the monthly distribution.
It is an opportunity each month to keep in touch with all the children (knowing all the sponsored children is one of ANAK’s fundamental commitments), bring letters received from godparents (and collect children’s letters), distribute pocket money so children will not need to travel to school on an empty stomach, and pay for transportation to middle school when needed.
Some months we are also able to provide a little something extra. This month, our team brought a hygiene kit, including a toothbrush, toothpaste and soap, for each child to complement their medical check-ups.
Dwi, our President in Bali, also took the opportunity to present prizes to the winners of the “ANAK Talents” contest mentioned in a previous article.
Furthermore, we are starting guidance interviews with young people finishing middle school this year and planning their life at the residence in Singaraja in an effort to encourage the young people to go there.
It has been a busy time for our team!
