RAISE AWARENESS AND TAKE ACTION
Aware of the urgent need to protect the environment in Bali, we support children and teenagers in becoming active agents of change within their communities.
Through concrete actions, we raise awareness of environmental issues and involve them in protecting and enhancing the richness of their native habitat.
4 CONCRETE ACTIONS
1. Raising awareness of environmental protection
We educate and train sponsored children and teenagers on the importance of protecting their environment through workshops and meetings with committed local stakeholders.
2. Waste collection and recycling workshops
We take daily action to collect waste in our villages of intervention.
We also run practical workshops to teach how to recycle and repurpose waste.
3. Organic farming, composting, and eco-enzymes
We train children and teenagers in organic farming and breeding methods, as well as in producing eco-enzymes and compost, to sustainably enrich the soil.
These practices are tested and implemented at our mini-farm located at the Dharma Citta residence.
4. Participation in reforestation projects
We involve teenagers in tree-planting initiatives to restore and strengthen local biodiversity.
