On February 10th and 11th, Suzanne, an English teacher at the Green School, spent the weekend with Anak. This was an opportunity for her to discuss pedagogy with Anak’s Buleleng’s teachers (Gede, Artama, Komang and Arni), to discover the dance class and to participate in the English class at the new Sawan center.
On Sunday, Suzanne first met with Kadek Buda and Mangku. She then had the opportunity to talk with Tony (Anak’s English teacher for Panji Anom and Dharma cita). Resident students of Dharma Cita really enjoyed chatting with an English native and gave her a demonstration of their artistic talents.
Anak is looking into whether an exchange programme is possible with high school students from the Green School to bring together all these young people for moments of exchange and sharing.
